Fellow Pastor and Servant of Christ,

As a pastor in the local church myself, I fully understand the frustrations of building and maintaining a vibrant men’s ministry.  It seems that we have no problem rallying the troops, creating excitement, or attracting a large group to kick off a new men’s venture.  The problem is that from day one, the enthusiasm begins to fade, attendance slowly declines, and we’re left with the same small group of core leaders who are now just as frustrated as the pastor as to why men can’t seem to stick with anything.

Men of Light understands that the only way to sustain men’s hearts long term is to first help them develop a hunger for God through a new or revived relationship with Jesus Christ.  The conference provides a Holy Spirit vehicle and a definite mountain top experience for that relationship to explode!

After the conference, we compile registration and feedback information that can be shared with your church so appropriate follow up can be done by your leaders.  This information includes men who attended from your church or live in your area, men interested in being in a small group or leading one, men who have accepted Christ for the first time or have rededicated their lives to Christ at the event.  We continue to contact these men as well via e-mails and mailers, encouraging them to engage at your church, seeking out small groups and men’s ministries.

Men of Light will continue to work with your church leaders to suggest or provide training resources and small group study curriculum and discipleship materials that feed from that past conference themes, and based on each speaker’s message.  These provide excellent 6-8 week, small group studies for discipleship.

Please be assured, Men of Light is not about teaching a denominational doctrine or theology and is certainly not interested in trying to steer men away from your church or it’s teaching.  Quite the opposite is true.  We want to move men into your church, into a small group discipleship opportunity, and help to sustain their interest and involvement throughout the year, until we help to fire them up again at the next inspiring conference!

I would like to ask for your passion for men to know Christ to be evident by supporting Men of Light Conferences at your church.  Whether from the pulpit, in announcements or newsletters, to allowing promotional posters to be hung and DVD’s to be shown in Sunday School classrooms; we need your help to get your men to the next event.  We will provide all the materials and come to speak to your men’s group(s) if possible to spread the word.
